midterms season

how you know you're halfway through the semester. lucky for me, i'm taking three mods (other than fyp) this semester so i have three midterms and one of them was last week so i'm currently preparing for the other two this coming week! i don't know how to feel about this - like, i know i have to do well but i don't know if i can do well. it's making me rethink my decision on declaring for a minor in modern languages so that i can su this mod and fully focus on my other two modules. last week's midterm was an online one, it was 25 mcq questions in 30 minutes, plus i also submitted an essay for the same mod on that day as well. this already determined 50% of my grade for that module and i don't even know how i'm faring. for one of the mods which midterm is this week, we previously had a test in week4 and i did not too bad for that, but i'm not too sure what to expect for the test this week and i'm kinda nervous right now. as for korean... well... i'm gonna have to revise what i learnt in the previous three levels plus do some intense memorisation of vocabulary and grammar rules. 

i'm so glad that we have had a bit of progress for fyp this past week though! some brands and experts got back to us which helped us with our findings and research, which was really helpful because sustainable cosmetic is a relatively new topic so we HAD to go and talk to people - as what prof had been telling us for the longest time ever. we're trying our best!!!!! i'm lowkey scared as well but i don't even know what i'm scared of yikes. 

on another note, yesterday was kinda like a break day for me. joined mj saturday class online and mangaged to sweat and exercise a bit - my muscles are aching now yikes. and also watched mulan yesterday! hua mulan is so pretty i'm just,,... some parts of the movie got me teary-eyed but we can have that conversation on another day. just reminds me of the time i watched aladdin with nella during exams season last year while i was on exchange!! 

i am looking forward to meeting up with some secondary school friends and hall friends this week! may this week be a good week. recess week, i'm coming for you (soon)!
