few months ago when we found out about this free concert, we were actually quite skeptical. because a free concert doesn't happen just like that, right?? when i didn't receive the email notifying me that i won tickets, i was like.. oh, okay, but still anticipating for one cos people who won another category had received theirs. and i got my email one day before the concert. even then, i was still a bit skeptical because who knows- they might make us sit at the venue for hours listening to some talk about the lunch of stargram. but that afternoon, there were actually airport previews of b1a4, jbj and exid. i was so excited afterwards i couldn't focus during class for the next few days because of anticipation and withdrawals. 

that evening, impromptu decision to go to the airport. didn't regret it. most of the people at the airport were there for jbj, but we were there for b1a4!! sandeul responded when i called out to him, jinyoung and gongchan waved to our general direction as we called them, and baro and cnu were walking mostly at the other side. stayed up till 2am doing our LED boards which was probably worth it???

d-day pre-show was a mess! was trying to trade tickets and a kind bana gave us tickets which were super close to the extended stage with a good view as well! and since we had extra tickets, we also gave them out mostly to banas. since this post is written two months after the concert, i can't really remember much from the show anymore. but to me, the highlight were the kpop acts, especially b1a4. the crowd united together during other acts as well, cheering and flashing our phones' flashlights. it was really a sight to behold.

JBJ was the first kpop act to perform and the crowd was hyped because ultimately, most of the crowd was there for JBJ. for the joyfuls who did not get to attend jbj's fanmeet in singapore last december, they got a treat as this time, jbj performed more songs from their comeback album such as my flower, everyday and true colours, together with fantasy and say my name. most of the crowd was waving their jbj lighsticks. really, welcome back to singapore, boys! really glad to have you back again for the second time in two months!

the second kpop group to perform was exid. they also happened to be the only girl group to perform that night. the crowd didn't disappoint though, when every single person in the stadium sang along to their hit songs like up and down, ah yeah, hot pink, ddd and night rather than day. it was their second visit to singapore in a couple of months, and i sure hope they had as much fun performing as the fans did jamming in their seats!

the final group to perform for the night was b1a4. they were the ones i was looking forward to, and i took out my led boards which me and my sister made till 2am the previous night. expecting the group to be only performing a lie and rollin', i had the chills when the starting of what's happening played, the song which got them their first win. at the main stage, they also performed a lie, rollin' and baby goodnight. afterwards, they took to the extended stage and performed a cup of water and good timing, where they interacted with fans and served fans with fan service. everyone in the audience enjoyed their stage as they rushed to the front, and as all the members sprayed water at the crowd during a cup of water. they ended off with the song good timing, and i would say it really was a good evening with them as i had withdrawals for two whole weeks after the concert.

months later as i think about the concert, i still honestly can't believe that i got to saw b1a4 live especially when i thought that i had a very slim chance of being able to do that. also, getting to see jbj again and to see the queen of bops, it really was an evening to remember.
