((hello i am aware i have yet to update about stargram which was literally one of the best nights this year thus far but school has been pretty busy and i will update it while i can. meanwhile, this will be a short appreciation post as i hit the big 2))
i turned 20 on 21 march 2018. i thought i just turned 18 not too long ago but time really flies. this year is the first time that i'm not at home for my birthday, but i am really grateful to the people around me who make me feel loved.
first of all, simpsons. to the people involved, yall made it too obvious la. but i really appreciate yall and those who came to my room that tuesday evening when i was smelly after dance prac!!! shout out to hanrong who came 1 minute after we took a group picture, and peishi and angus who came after their marketing project! love de! also thanks to the bunch whom i had dinner with, gary for dinner and shiquan for koi!! and crish for the short video call i thought you have forgotten :'-)
and on thursday, thank u alice and minray for lunch and the cake and the fox????? secondary school days are good old times. also, thankful for the ntu ministry for two cakes! yunsheen got me a coco exotic cos she knows i love that cake and elaine bought a red velvet because of our common interest in kpop! it was a tiring day i have no idea why but the two cakes and your company really encouraged me!
was really tired on friday as well but still went for sister's devo, when i got surprised by my dgroup! i was literally just using my phone cos we have finished sharing and i was kinda waiting when suddenly everyone started singing the song i got a shock! thanks yall! also really appreciate the card :'-) denise actually cropped me and b1a4 into the same sheet of paper aaaaaaaaa love it so much
saturday was clap filming and a really tiring day but at the end of the day, amethyx still have the energy to surprise me. we were having dinner and i was just talking to cali about school and eating my chicken rice and using my phone when they all started singing the birthday song i got shocked for the second time in less than half an hour. grateful.
i would like to take this time to thank everybody who wished me on this day. as each year passes, less and less people wish me happy birthday but i guess i'm thankful to those who remembered. every year, i also spend time with different people through changes. i want to thank every one who has been in my life in any point of time these past 20 years. to those who left and to those who stayed, yall have taught me a lesson or two, impacted me in a way or another.
and of course, i'm grateful to God for blessing me with friendships i would never have imagined to have, especially in hall.
growing up, things are not gonna get any easier. more challenges are bound to come and people will change. but if there's one thing i want to do, it is to be positive, to have more courage to step out of my comfort zone, and to seize the day.
to more adventures ahead! (and school)

finally. it is the end of week 7. finally. recess week is here. the past seven weeks had been a roller coaster ride as the mods that i'm taking now are pretty crazy. it has been pretty tiring, but i'm surviving and i am just so glad that recess week is here so that i can have a little bit of time to breathe before mugging again.
it is gonna be a crazy half semester after recess weeks as midterms are coming and assignments are due. april is hell month for me as i already have 12 deadlines and tests and assignments and presentations and finals. will i be able to pull up my gpa?
based on my own personal opinion, i have been more consistent with my work for the first seven weeks as compared to the first seven weeks in semester one. which means i am kind of achieving my goal for this year which is to be more consistent. context: i was pretty chill last semester before recess week but little did i know i had a ton of stuff to do after recess week so i pretty much died. quite proud of myself for trying to be consistent now hehe.
the highlight of the first half of the semester was probably seeing in2it and having the best hi-touch experience in the beginning of february.. as well as seeing jbj, exid and b1a4(!!!!) at the end of february... for free!! i have yet to update my blog about stargram, but yes stargram happened and i got to see b1a4 and i am so happy the withdrawals are strong but getting better. literally just three months ago, my sister and i were talking about how we probably won't be able to see them because their fanbase in singapore is quite small. but b1a4 actually made stargram their own concert and i cannot believe i heard a lie live!!! really hoped they saw our led board cos quite a number of people in the audience saw it hehe. yes it was so much fun we were quite close to the extended stage and also the only ones shouting the b1a4 fanchants so we pretty much got judged by the people around us who were jbj fans. now i'm really motivated to learn korean and try to pull up my gpa so i really gotta focus!!!!
recess week will probably be tiring as i try to catch up on more school stuff but i hope all will be well.
sorry for this short and unplanned and messy post because my mind right now is in a mess.
