hello friends!!!!!!! or myself!!!!!!! it is currently saturday may 23 11.17pm (AS I AM TYPING THIS) and i just got home around half an hour ago from school!!!! yes i literally spent a whole SATURDAY in school so it is a 6-day school day and 1 day weekend for me and some other students as well but oh well!! :) so yeah today our school had college day and gala dinner. and apparently college day is supposedly like secondary school's speech day but cchy does not have speech day so //inserts moon emoji// yeah i am so dead tired this week had been such a long week with rehearsals till 7+, 8 but here's how almost everything went. :)

we had like around 4 rehearsals altogether i think, 3 wednesdays and 1 friday and for all the rehearsals we had to wear court shoes (omg those shoes that kill your feet and toe muscles) speaking from past experiences and current experiences too. hahaha so basically my job will be at the foyer to welcome guests and bring them to the receptionist table and to the concourse and also greeting the guest of honor, mr gan, the minister of health -- woah there right!!!!! and dinner was provided and i basically hung around with the same group of people - yuting cecilia vionna audrey and marcus while joey made friends (who also eventually became my friends okay) like jasmine and desiree and francina hahah :)

as the hall was going to be used for gala dinner, college day was held in lt4 where parents, vip and awardees will be, and lt3 where most student audiences will be at. and yea we had a live streaming in lt3 la but then it turned out that everyone brought homework so it seemed like a detention or study club or something hahaha. as for me i was really too lazy to do my lit so i just stared into blank space and enjoyed the indian dance, modern dance and choir and just lazed around ya know. who spends a saturday morning in school watching seniors and people you dont know receiving awards and bursaries and scholarships sigh it makes me feel stupidddddd. but yeah saw less than 5 familiar faces onstage HAHAH and the event ended quite early, like earlier than expected. so yay. then afterwards we saw the college day ambassadors going home and i'm like "noooooo" like skyxis was like "still have gala dinner ah, huh so sad i go home first" HAHAHA and then niger was like "so you are staying back all the way till gala? ok bye see you tonight again then" HAHAHA ya i really stayed back in school for the whole day (and i had lunch at pastamania ok and we talked to jasmine's friend and another friend i am so sorry friends i don't know your name la ok much love hahaha)

so i helped some people tie french braids it looks retarded and loose and messy but i tried, i really did!!!!! but not bad la the one for the emcee. cecilia's hair was so thick she needed both me and joey to help her tie and her hair was a disaster spelt with a capital D HAHAHA. 12 poppers went to the hall like one hour earlier for a final rehearsal for the finale. we had to like get the angle of the poppers right and stuff so ya HAHAHA. the rehearsal was such a draggggg we ended at like 5+ ish and we had to have dinner and made sure that we looked neat and stuff and be in position by 5.30 it was such a rush i only ate a couple of mouths for my dinner. by 5.30, blazer checked, tie pin checked, name tag checked, collar pin checked, tie checked, we were in positions and ready to great any guests who were coming. hahaha it was so awkward especially since i had to greet some guests in chinese!!! i did hesitate and stutter a little with the chinese part but all is well, all is well. i thought we had to welcome a lot of guests but turns out not because the teachers were welcoming the guests so we were pretty awkward and hesitant whether we should welcome the guests umm..... yeah. and finally the minister came??? i was so worried that i wouldn't be able to see him because of my height and because there were over 20 people crowded at the foyer but luckily, minister gan was wearing marron, a pretty distinct colour shirt from the rest of the males there so phew for me and audrey!!! HAHAHA. and after we greeted the minister, our duty was pretty much done, and i left the popper thingy which would be 2 hours later. so i went back to LT3 and took pictures and talked and just slacked with yuting cecilia vionna and audrey and then later marcus joined us also. but before that we took pictures at the concourse. and we took more pictures when we returned to the lecture theatre hahaha the aircon was so shuang and cooling especially since we were all wearing double layered long sleeved shirts with our ties on and for some weird reason or another i could not balance walking barefooted HAHAH oh my gosh. then at 8 plus ish yuting marcus vionna and audrey left because well they were done with duty so good for them!!!!! we went to the back of the hall during the last auction section to well, prepare, and that's where we saw niger and the bballers and interactors going to the photobooth and we also saw jonathan HAHAHA yah. ok the programme of the gala dinner also went by quite quickly so in a moment we were backstage preparing ourselves just for the popper. i was reallyyyyyyy scared idky like scared that the popper wont pop and stuff la hahah. and desmond was telling us about a super funny situation i cannot say in words here hahaha. and finally the finale, and it was actually super easy to pop the popper HAHAH and yay done with life. afterwards we took a group photo (mr kaw said we are part of the performance wAT) and we went back to lt3. so good to be able to take off my tie, blazer and court shoes!!! and we took a lil J1 shot cos why not?????? it was a vvv tiring but good day i guess i just hope i can make more friends in ambass then maybe i'll like the cca more a little bit more hahaha. :))) sent jasmine home yayyyyy. and 11.30 i was skyping with celine and chanel and jo and duncan ahahaha it was pretty random but -- indonesia this weekendddddddd yas out of this little tiny red dot a short break ya

and i woke up really really really tired this morning... but the band was great we sang build! after so so so so long omg i really miss the ilc period so much, the cambodians and all my other overseas friends. :(((( but oh well stuck in singapore for the rest of my life. and lunch was pretty funny too with tricia and dayna idk it's the same old good company i guess. :)))

back home and i have yet to complete my homework. ugh. mid years coming, gp paper is this friday homaigosh i am so freaking nervous help. but on a side note, it's week 10 of term2 and we have week 11 and then i would have officially survived a complete full term of junior college oh my wow. this just reminded me of how fast time is passing. and the seniors say "just make sure you promote" ok i only have a few weeks before mid years i am motivated to make the best out of it (hah we'll see) for gp i think i really have to open the newspapers everyday this week and get some general knowledge into my head omg.
