that was the theme of our church year end party for 2014 and soooooo everyone dressed retro like 1970s kind of thing. ((i shall skip the work part and meeting up with tricia part of the day HAHA)). ain't nobody got time to dress up i just wore a dress and a pair of shoes both bought from indonesia. AND SOMEHOW. FOR ONE REASON OR ANOTHER. OR NO REASON AT ALL. I FELT awkward. and i actually had goosebumps HAHAHAHAH so yeah the theme of last year's year end party got the adults putting on wigs and wearing bling bling it was so funny and everyone was so dressed up unlike any other sunday service or midweek hahaha. so we started off with the campus band (+teens) singing a few songs. cheered reaaaaally loudly for celine and kyla!!!! yay for future superstars okk. and the whole thing officially started. there were games and performances and videos which got aLL of us laughing really hard and then at 11pm sharp we made a toast for 2014 which had been a great year. and as always, we had a time for prayer and at around 11.30 or something, we had a mass dance WHICH WAS SUPER FUN AND FUNNY. a few of the singles were on stage teaching us and leading us and we were there just like learning and having fun. so actually i was beside nick and then nathan was like "eh switch place i want to disturb her" <PSSH> and at the corner of my eyes i saw other people HA HA HA NATHAN HA HA HA HAHAHAHAHA. yeah i kept disturbing him basically because ((yah its just funny)) ((and i cant really describe what happened here if not he'll probably get mad)) HAHAHAHA yah it was super funny and it was cool like everybody dancing there in the main hall!!!!! and soon, we were counting down to 2015. holy crap how did time fly that fast. so yeah at midnight i was literally at loss of what to do and before i know it i was going around hugging everybody wishing everyone happy new year and close to tears, shouting "NO MORE O LEVEL YEAR" hahahaha. K. there was confetti everywhere, some even stuck into my hair, i think. hahaha anddddddddddd this year we didnt take much photos but we took a twin-cousin pic like since 2013 you can literally see the physical changes HAHAHA. as always, the after midnight part was the most fun and craziest part!!! random songs played and we just danced randomly in the straits hall (well, mostly campus and teens) and even if you feel really tired, you'll still want to dance if not you'll feel like you're missing out on a lot of fun HAHAHA it was really really fun jumping around really. and we ended at like 1.15 even though we only partied for like 1 hour 15 minutes it felt more than that prolly because i was super tired. afterwards, most people went to the back of the straits hall to play card games and i just stayed at the front where some people were watching a movie and i just stayed there and talk to nick. well, nick is a very very hilarious person, like he doesn't even need to try! HAHAH so it's pretty fun talking to him almost the whole night even though i kinda forgot what we talked about hahaha. first food of the year, macs. again. HAHAHA church gates were unlocked at 6am and slowly we streamed out of the church building. us, crish, nick, bantzu, jay and tricia initially wanted to have breakfast together but we were too tired cos most of us stayed up the whole night so we just decided to go home instead. so guys, that was how i spent the last few hours of 2014 and last few hors of 2015, with the spiritual family.

did significant events happen in 2014? i think i have stm i kinda forgot what happened last year, the most i remember is studying for //ahem// O's. so i shall try my best to list down events or things that made me happy last year alright, let's go!!!!

1) S1OC'15
my last s1oc in cchy and i am very very proud of the excos to have made this camp possible, from planning, to executing this camp, especially since we didn't know what to expect. being a facil and being in the planning comm was totally different (and kinda stressful) but i'm glad i have gained new experiences and this camp with my fellow councillors and juniors, was a success. :)

2) DANCE FAREWELL
so in my whole secondary school life in dance, i have attended like, 3 dance farewell parties, all for our seniors. and this particular year, we were not involved, because we would be stepping down. if you are very very close to me, you will know that dance clique have been a very very important part of my secondary school life especially since they always make my dance days and they're just a group of people i really enjoy being with. so during farewell, no thanks to hengjie, i cried twice. reading letters that our juniors wrote to us really touched me, even letters from the sec1s because we barely know them at all but they still wrote to me, i am very very touched. thank you juniors.

3) SC FAREWELL
it was held during the council camp, which we again were sadly not involved. but some of us arrived a couple of hours earlier to join our juniors for the games. and even though the farewell was brief, i am thankful for our juniors for putting in the effort to organise this farewell for us. and council was also the place where i got to make many many new friends, and i got the chance to go overseas three with the student council in cchy, so i am thankful for the experiences i have gained and friendships i have formed in the council, especially saikang warriors. :)

4) GRADUATION
i never ever thought this day will come so soon. 4 years in high school over in a flash. the last few days of school was literally a time for us to take pictures with everybody and so it was pretty fun and i suddenly felt overwhelmed during graduation, as i have gone through so many events in cchy, which have taught me a lot. all the overseas camps i've been to with my batchmates, all the memories created in class, pranking our teachers, getting scolded together, we have gone through a lot as a batch and i guess, we're a pretty cool batch.

5) JAKARTA TRIP
so for two weeks in december i went to jakarta, and there was when my friendship with elysia became stronger and i got to make new friends too whom i miss very very much right now. also, learning how to speak bahasa and eating all the good food there, causing me to have stomachaches during the last few days and even on the flight back to singapore. also got to reunite with chanel and joshua in church and i will never ever ever forget josh's experience when he saw us HAHAHAH. i really hope that hopeng grp jr can stay close and we will meet very very soon guys, very soon. its a bummer that i missed out on retreat because i was in jakarta, but oh well, i had my fair bit of fun too.

6) JUNE RETREAT
well well even though this retreat was only 2d1n i would say it was a time where the teens ministry became closer. and even though i had a headache and wasn't feeling very well during the two days, i would like to say thank you to my group members, especially nick for talking to me and not getting annoyed because of my moodswings whatsoever. xie xie ni men hen duo hen duo. :)))) i love the teens ministry yaY!

and so we're almost done with the first month of 2015 and i have made a couple of resolutions which are weird. I REALLY HOPE I CAN ACHIEVE MY RESOLUTIONS if you want to know what they are come and ask me personally. hahaha/
