So the past few weeks in church, everyone had been busy preparing for the ILC. With the band almost every week, to having previews of the musical BUILD, sad to say, it's now over. This past weekend had been so amazing and awesome and I can't thank God enough for it. ILC and SEA Region Conference and just services in a packed hall.
Even though it was a real bummer we did not watch the musical live while everyone else did. Ugh. But there were 5 sold out shows for the musical and over 2000 visitors! I just watched the musical (on dvd, duh) and it was so good now one of the songs is stuck in my head.
So anyways this is how my weekend went:

Chinese paper today i....... don't want to talk about it. Haha. But we went to Swissotel the Stamford for the closing lesson and okay everyone was in this really big ballroom and it was filled with disciples from all over the world (mostly adults, but its ILC what can I expect hahaha). And we went to sit with Robbie yay we found a familiar face amidst the sea of people. Hahaha. When we reached there it was the announcements time, good news from ICOC all around the world, and we watched an ICOC Hotnews video as well. And suddenly poof Nathan appeared out of nowhere (I was shocked tbvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvh hahahahha) and yeah more announcements and stuff and then there was a 10minute break. We saw some familiar faces such as Sarah De Souza and Caesar! We didn't go anywhere though we wanted to go take pics with HYC peeps but we stayed to talk to Nathan who says that he has no friends and that his friends are beside him hahahah. And he was super funny today I don't even know why but yeah HAHAHA and he actually went for lesson on thursday too HAHAHA and yeah other funny stuffs happened to maybe because school had made us gone bonkers? Most probably. So the last lesson was by Mike Talliferro, the guy who's always on ICOC hotnews and we get to see him in real life?! HAHAHAH so cool ok. And the title was related to the theme, "Go Up and Build!" And after the service, we had worship led by Brian Craig! BEING ABLE TO SEE HIM IN REAL LIFE OMGAH hahaha. And yeah dismissed and then we went to find our HYC friends yayyyyyy passed by Jordan, saw Sarah Andrew, Isabelle and finally saw Vanthan! It was great catching up a lil with Isabelle and finally meeting Vanthan after a year! Hahaha and then we met Jiajuan ((in the same train)) for dinner and homed because we were not going for the dance party at church. Ps I was surprised at the number of teens who went to swissotel despite having school hahaha. :)

Tuition at 8am in the morning till 11.30 andddddddddd we went to church for the SEA region / ILC Youth Conference! We reached at like almost 2pm and the hall was just filled with young teens, teens and campus. So we had the simultaneous classes. The first class I went to was One Thing by Kent and Heather McKean and it just made me reflect and I actually thought how I survived watching The Passion. The second class was Why Believe? by . And while changing locations, we saw a group of Cambodian teens, and Porm came forward to aay hi. So I finally met her after a year! After the two simultaneous classes, we had a short break before gathering at the straits hall for the last lesson. And so we made friends with a few of the Cambodian teens who were here for their trip to Singapore! Mara's father still recognised us and he was like "hey it's you! You have grown up!" Hahaha. And we made friends with Phong and Kim. Kim is Gwen's sister!!!!!! And we also saw Jared Vasallo and he was like "hey the laughing twins!" And when I asked how tall he was, he just went "taller than you" hahahah whatever, he's like 2 heads taller than us. So before the lesson, we had talks for HYC and Swamp Corps and Goldstone school. NOW I REALLY WANNA GO SWAMP CORPS like at the US or South Africa or anywhere. And the last lesson was by Kent and Heather McKean, using clips from the movie "The Matrix". It was interesting and a great lesson and then we had to leaveeeeeeeeeee. But it was still a great Saturday!

SO. The end of ILC and SEA region conference, the busiest weekend for Central Christian Church members. Was early at church and we fellowshipped with the Cambodian teens. It's a pity we can't spend a lot of time with them because we are in the midst of prelims. Today's sermon was titled GO! By John Lusk and it was greatttt. But sitting on the floor was not funny at all because aching butt. Haha. And today, the ICOC churches officially welcomed Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand to the SEA Region YAY CAMBODIANS!!!!! [Speaking of cambodipans, i really cant wait for o's to be over, because the cambodians who came last year will be coming!!!!! And we have like a lot to catch up on hahaha] and for worship, we had the acapella and band mixed, and it was super cool. And for the last song, we sang the theme song Build! And also learnt that for yesterday's games forfeit they had to sing this song hahaha. Anyways went around taking pictures with the overseas friends because honestly, we don't know when we will meet again. :( yeah it was an awesome weekend and I LOVED the fellowship!
ps sat with Diana Wooten last sunday heh.
Pps i know this post is super very late uh but whatever
