So we reached Singapore at 6am and we parted ways with the Jakarta and Australian HYC members. Had breakfast at burger king & the australians came. Jared brandon and aaron came to our table and aay hi LOL. Yup homed Then we slept for like 8 hours before heading to church for countdown party! It was themed HEROES, and I just wore my HYC tee shirt cos I miss HYC so much. Ah. The australians and talula were there already so we took the time to fellowship and take pictures and polaroids! I wished I brought the polaroid to HYC though. :( anyways the event started at 9pm and there were people who were really dressed up. Sat on the floor with Mayde and Chanel joined halfway because there weren't enough seats, and they had other Indo friends. First was like the performance segment where there were dances and skits. And some kiddos danced to ONE THING I was like jumping on the floor?????? Hahahaah 2 cute. And there were games and the best dressed competition and so on. I think everything ended at like 11 or something then we stacked up the chairs, fellowshipped more and took more photos and polaroids. And we had the last prayer of 2013 by uncle John and aunty Karen. And the final song we all sang before counting down was Auld Lang Syne. We just had our hands around each other and just yup sang. I was like in the middle of the Australians and Singaporeans LOLOL. And we countdown! I was so so so excited to be celebrating New Year with my new friends made from HYC. Me and Mayde even took a selfie during the countdown. And as midnight got closer, we shouted louder and MIDNIGHT! We all just started cheering and going around wishing one another happy new year! I was so excited and like going around like a broken tape recording saying "happy new year"! Took a twin-cousin picture with Nick and Nathan (cos last year's photo was blurry) so yay! And also took a picture with Sean. Oh how fast that boy grows. He was shorter than me during 2012 Young teens retreat and now he's taller than me I just can't. And we danced the two dances that we danced during HYC christmas eve special dinner bonfire and also banquet nice. HYC feels man!!! I miss HYC so much. :( I was happy and sad at the same time to dance that with a few of the HYC friends :): oh well. So we stayed at the second floor and I wrote Mayde and Chanel's card for the whole 5 hours hahaha. They were leaving that night. :( And I took a really long time to write their cards cos I talked and laughed and used phone a lot too. Oh well. :P typical Joween. And there was a point of time me, Joey, Robbie (the guy one) and Vanessa posted a photo of ourselves on Crish's instagram at like 3am in the morning and it still got almost 30 likes in 30 mins????? But then she realised it and deleted the photo. :( And we laughed at inside jokes hahaha. Ah well. My first foods of 2014 were chips and macdonalds which we ordered and took more than an hour to come.Some people slept. Some people talked. Some people danced. Some people walked around. And I can't explain or describe how funny Jared was because he was wearing some indian clothes (or something???) and then he wore a hoodie over it and apparently the hoodie was too small for him so his shirt kinda popped out at the bottom and the sleeves reached like half of his hand that kind of thing. HAHAHA. And I learnt that Australians call snapping, clicking. uhhuh. And basically that's how I spent the first few hours of 2014, and last few hours of 2013.

Soo..... it's only right to have a dedication post for a  new year right? Like people who have made 2013 a really really awesome year. 2013 was indeed a great year for me. So. :D

1) THE FAMILY.
(dang I can't find a fam photo from 2013) but a family with 3 girls can be really crazy. We have disagreements and fights, quarrels and many many conflicts, but I pray that we can grow closer together this year. Thanks for just being always there during my high and lows.

2) SAIKANG WARRIORS.
My fave bunch of people in SC. They are the ones who allow me to enjoy SC meetings and SC times.

3) BANANANANANAS.
THE BEST DANCE CLIQUE EVER. People who light up my world like nobody else. <3 LOL they make my dance days la. We got the weirdest people and I'm so glad they are part of my CCHY journey. I'm gonna miss them so so so much when we step down in dance. :( SO MUCH MEMORIES MADE WITH THEM even though we began clicking last year or something.

4) CHURCH PEEPS.
The ones that I meet every Sunday mornings and Friday evenings. The ones who make me look forward to church. The ones that I can be myself with and not afraid to get judged. SO grateful for ya'll for being in my life, tolerating my crazy moments and all my crap. I know lately a lot of things have been happening, but I hope our friendships will grow stronger in the Kingdom. I'm so glad to be able to call you girls my bestfriends, my sisters-in-christ.


5) HYC 2013 PARTICIPANTS.
My overseas family. The 120 of us gathered in Chennai with the same goals, spending 2 weeks in India, missing Christmas with our physical families, some even missing celebrating their birthdays. I'm so glad to have met all of you during my journey. Even though I didn't talk to all, but I feel so close with everyone here. I miss you all so much. I'm so grateful to be able to meet all of you. I miss HYC.

So glad to be able to meet brothers and sisters from all over the world. Presenting to you, my ohana. <3

6) CAMBODIAN TEENS.
Being able to spend a few days with ya'll was so much fun. I still remember the activities we did together and I am so glad that we are part of the ICOC family. And we still keep in touch though it's almost a year already. I miss you guys so much and I hope to see you all soon.


AND THERE ARE SO MANY MORE. So grateful to God for allowing me to get baptised on 9 June last year. SO grateful for my SC family and Central Christian Church. And so so so many other things. I hope that 2014 will be a better year! (And I miss 2013). O levels this year, we all gotta work hard! I can't wait to see some familiar faces during ILC later this year. I'll update about Retreat, HYC and S1OC soon!
