So we had our first full dress rehearsal for Chingay Parade 2014 at the F1 Pit yesterday, 18/1. We had to jihe in school at 1.45. So some of us went to have lunch first. Xueqi faith joeyer yini keting jolene met at 12 and ate at BBQ chicken. I joined them late and had KFC LOL #hobo #cheapskate #aunty anyway yup I was wearing contacts and my eyes were really really tiny so they kept laughing at me gahh. And we talked about a lot a lot of stuff like seniors and juniors and cohorts and even the guy who was working at bbq chicken hahhah and laughed a lot too. Jiajun joined us later. After they had their fill, we went to popular cos JJ wanted to get her Amath TYS (mugger) and then we went to get starbucks. We thought we were gon a be late LOL but we were on time. In fact, 2 minutes early! Then we had free time so we stretched and talked some more. And soon, we were on our way to the F1 pit! NDP FEELS MAN. In the bus, we started camwhoring LOL and we took a lot of photos and talked and laughed throughout the wholeeeeeee trip there. We even took more photos when we alighted the bus(?!) And while waiting for instructions (?!) LOLOLOL typical girls mah. And then we got changed to (for the people) our "school" skirt and belt amd leg gear and for the horses, into their taekwando uniform. JUST KIDDING their costumes look like that. And they had a blue belt hahaha. Afterwards we walked to where our costumes were stored in a container, put our stuffs in there, and then got changed into our FULL COSTUME. We had a cape thingy attatched to our arm gear, a big feather thing and a warrior's headgear and pompoms. And the horses, they had wings. Literally. And a big horse LOL. We took almost half an hour or so to get our costumes on. Andddd we had a lil bit of trouble doing our actions. Hhahha. We were laughing at one another and crap. Then we had our first rehearsal where we marked our postition and stuffs. But we had a lot of free time at standby so we just sat on the floor and a lot of people wanted to take pictures and I'm just like ....... yup. So after the first rehearsal we got the approximately 1kg costume off and AH SO COOLING cos our costumes blocked the wind and stuffs and we took more photos while waiting for our dinner to arrive. Had dinner and after dinner, we took even MORE photos until we had to prepare again for the next rehearsal. The second rehearsal was with lights and stuff and it was when me and Joey laughed because of one of the guys from Peicai/Balestier Hill and that's when we learnt that there's a girl called Xueqi from that school too. HAHA. Anyway the practice wa umm i have no idea how to say the people in front were moving so slowly and we were all so confused and stuff but anyway we had to take a long route back to container area which was really tiring and hurt my feet cos of the pretty silver boots. Bla. We immediately got our costumes off and packed them up before we headed to the bus and back to school. In the bus we were looking through the photos and laughing at unglams. And back at school, there was a group that wanted to go into the school LOL but I stayed outside. Tompang Faith's car to Yishun mrt with joeyer Hengjie and yini and then we separated ways. In total, I think we took like 100+ photos HAHAHA looking forward to more chingay practices!
