HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Chinese new year celebration in school! But we had to jihe like at 7?????????? Good thing dad drove us to school though. And Yini bought us Krispy Kreme!!! So we had delicious doughnuts early in the morning hehehe. Thanks Yini many love to you! ♥♥♥ so we put on our foundation first and then put our bags in the AVA room before heading back to the parade square for flag raising. Saw Ms Lim while making our way to the AVA room so I took a polaroid with her! We sat at the back of a random class HAHAHA. And after flag raising and announcements we auto went back to AVA room and proceeded with our warmups and makeup. Warming up early in the morning. Gah. Feel so stiff man. And then Yini put my make up and my eye looked like it got punched its so swollen HAHHA and we had to tie two ponytails. When we were ready, we camwhored. LOL. Typical dance people LOLOLOL. We practiced by counting, and did a cheer before we headed up to the MPH. The performance had already started! And before we knew it, it was time for our performance. It was my laat performance in CCHY, and it was time to forget about everything else and just dance. And I guess our item went well. :-) the countings were alright, the horses went well, the gaoqiaos did great and we received a loud applause at the end of the performance. YAY! Good job dancers! Afterwards we went back to the AVA and back up to the MPH again to watch the rest of the performance. We were on time for the CO and choir performance. So we down there like zihigh along with the choir and we also took more pictures hehehe. After the concert ended, we headed back to the AVA. Saw Ms Lim outside the MPH and talked to her for awhile with Zixuan and Desheng, took a picture (Because teacher said I was in my costume) with her and gave her a hug. Dang I'm gonna miss her so much. The only chinese teacher whom we can speak english to. :( then headed down to the AVA room where we took somemore pictures and videos. We took for probably an hour or almost an hour LOLOLOL and then headed to Causeway point with Joeyer Yini and Faith. Had lunch at yoshinoya with the mum and sissies. Saw Yijing who was alone (sigh Yini why no pei your sister) HAHAHA then we went home and um slept. Cos school for the past month had obviously taken away a lot of my sleeping time. Slept until like 5+ and then we prepared to go to reunion dinner at the cousins' place. They were as cute as they had always been man. Erica was like "play with me or I will take your voice foreverrrrrrrrr" and Enver was like idk man following Erica? They are very hilarious hahaha. Dinner was steamboat and ahma cooked rendang! The best rendang ever! Then played with the cousins awhile more before going home.

Day 1 of CNY! Woke up at like 10.30??? And headed to the grandparents' place to bainian. We saw first uncle (Jolene Joanne John) at the carpark and um it was awkward especially in the lift when 10 of us squeezed in it. Then everyone was already there. And it was more awkward. I could tell Wayne Warren and Winnie. But I could not recognise Joel I'M SERIOUS. Because he wasn't wearing specs? And Joshua. LOL. Umm..... yeap it was awkward. We had lunch and all. And John differentiated me and Joey by our bag colours because I was carrying a white bag and he was like "white is w, so w is joween la." That made me laugh for no apparent reason HAHAHA. So we ate the really good food. And the adults talked. And we were there so awkward. Times like this I wished we weren't as awkward, like last time we used to talk and play games and all. Oh well. And it's been 2 years since we met them, cos we were in India when they had a gathering last year. Sigh. We were the second last to leave. And da gu talked about studies omg. Yeap Wanyan is studying overseas in America and she called back. And Kelvin is overseas in Bangkok with his wife (he's married?!!!?!?!??!?!?!) . Ahaha. Anyways I was seeing the cousins picture we took a few years back and wow a lot of things have changed since then. Then we went home. Didn't go to ahma's house today cos nobody was at home. So we straight away went back home.

Day 2! Woke up at 11+ HAHAHA what a good sleep we had. And went to Ahma's house which was Jamie's house. And yup Jamie had friends so awkward. And we played with Nicholas and his girlfriend's dog hehehe so cute I took a selfie with her HAHAHA what. And basically my whole day was like that. We also took some ootd photos and stuffs. And had dinner there too. And yup my day was basically just like that.

Why this year CNY feels so different. I feel so distant from my cousins. Is this how cny is supposed to be like? Sigh. Wish I was closer to my cousins. Wish I am not awkward. Because CNY gatherings at the grandparents' place might get lesser and lesser in the future. I really hope that if there's a chance to get closer with my cousins, I will grab that opportunity and foster the bond. Because what's a family if we don't feel close?
