So tonight at 9.10pm, we'd be flying off to Chennai, India for Winter Hope Youth Corps 2013! The thought of it makes me excited and nervous at the same time. I can't wait to meet disciples from all over the world and at the same time, I have no idea what to expect over at Chennai. Chennai is a rather rural area of India and we'd be there to help the less fortunate there.
So for the first time, I'd be spending Christmas overseas and not at home. And I will not have internet for the whole 13 days during HYC. That means no twitter no instagram no blogging until 31 December when we come home.
I'm definitely gonna miss home.

Brandon did wrecking ball and Eugina did her snake thingy "she" and Brandon did a catwalk and everyone laughed so hard. So when it was time, we started to begin the amazing race with the standard "longest line race" to determine which group goes first. And after the game, we realised that the group movement for the amazing race had some problems and then we did necessary ammendments, which delayed the game a little. Thankfully, seniors were there to help entertain the councillors. And I was game master for CCHY tower with Joey BUT the game has nothing to do with "tower" at all LOL. They were supposed to lie down and form alphabets and whatever within 10 minutes and points were given based on how many words they can form. Yup there were other stations too like "blind mines" where councillors were blindfolded and had to listen to another councillor for directions on where to go without stepping on the mines. And another game was where they had to search for "ping pong balls" hidden in the canteen which has our school values on it. (Faizzah could say them!!!) Yup and somemore. The amazing race ended at 4 and everyone gathered in the canteen where the winners were announced and we debriefed all of them. I read out a message from Sheryl who had went home earlier as she wasnt feeling very well. After debriefs by everyone who wanted to say things, we ended off with a "3 cheers for SC" cheer! YAY COUNCILLORS FTW♥ and we dismissed them. Afterwards sec3s had our own debrief and we cleared the canteen up. Took a picture with seniors and Ms Serena again before we went separate ways. I went to have dinner at Eat with Jiahui Cindy Eugina Yongkai Zuyuan and Eecheng was just standing around waiting for his family, since we had no dinner. Mum and jana had went Jakarta. Yup a great dinner with councillors :-)

HI GUISE I know its been a really really long time since I updated my blog. Have been busy with work and really really tired too. But yeah LET'S TALK ABOUT SC CAMP!

27-28 November was sc camp! EXCOs have been planning this camp for 2 months or so, and we hoped this camp would be a success.

Day 1
On the 27th morning, EXCOs had to reach school at 7.20 for final briefing. Good thing dad drove us so yup we were early, and we could even buy mac  at 7.45 the rest of the SCs assembled in the parade square and we began putting them into their groups andddd started taking pictures LOL. Had a short debrief for them, before allowing them to put their bags into the classroom and prepared for ice breaking games in the mph. There were basically three stations for icebreaking : whacko, hey its you, and the name game. I was in charge of the name game which was a very short game where we all sat in a circle and said one another's names la. And I got to know some juniors' names yay. LOL I was so awkward I cannot................... yup an we combined the last two groups together to play so as to make the group bigger. And there I was a point of time where I started laughing non stop for no apparent reason...... oops. :P after the namegame we played bang splash, and I didn't kena forfeit yay  but the rest of them did hahahaha! Afterwards, everybody went to the AVA room for communications workshop taught by fellow EXCOs-- Sheryl, Joey, Cindy and Aloysius. I went down to take photos, join the crowd (and chui aircon) nyehehehe while the other EXCOs prepared for 911 games oops................. yup the communications workshop was funny LOL they had to play the pass the message games and the sentences were:
1) icebreaking games was so fun I peed in my pants
2) CCHY SC should be the casts of the next hunger games movie
And yup pretty hilarious. Credits to Sheryl for thinking of such stuff. LOLOLOL.
I left the workshop halfway and went up to the mph to help prepare for 911 games. SEE I STILL HELPED IN THE END. :-) it was an obstacle course between the groups where they had to go through stations. The first station was to go through a bunch of strings without touching it, the next was a how-many-people-in-your-group legged race, at the third station, councillors had to be in pairs facing back to back with a ball in between their back and go to another destination, and the last was parabolic law-- to kick their shoes till it reaches a point. LOL. I tried the parabolic law game and failed Kelvin and Arif came during the 911 games and just...... looked at us LOL. And also used Zuyuan's camera to take..... candids. After the games, I was supposed to help to keep the things, but I went to sc room to collect some stuff and didnt know that i had to clean up, so i went to the canteen where the rest of the councillors have gathered. And we made them do the makan cheer until we thought it was loud enough. BUT. Okay whatever. And then the EXCOs ourselves did the makan cheer louder than the other councillors cos swag. Ok and then the npcc people came. Afterwards, it was shared vision workshop held by eugina felicia yongkai and zuyuan. LOL everyone was very sleepy. And I think I caught some dozing off. LOL. BUT okay skip to after the workshop, we had inter group games. And we had stations. The stations were:
1) bumper chairs held at the first floor linkway. I did a demo once and my butt hurt already. But it was pretty hilarious seeing our juniors being so enthu and literally bump on the chairs. xD
2) egg and spoon. As the name suggests, councillors have to put a spoon into their mouth and a pingpong ball as the "egg". And each person has to do something before passing the egg to the next person. Like the first person has to shuffle through lines, second person say the first and last line of the pledge, third person dance somemparts of the ACES dance, fourth person do oppa gangnam style and so on.
3) fishnet in the mph. I joined a group that was playing when i went to the station because I was very bored. LOL and yup had fun with fellow councillors in this game, which started with the gamemasters plus me who are the fishnets.
4) (and final) its a game like the three-legged race, depending on how many people there are in the group. LOL. I played with Eugina Eecheng Aloysius and Yongkai and we overtook some groups that were ahead of us. Hahahaha. And Aloysius was "supporting" a group by going behind them and chanting "one, two, one, two" along LOLOLOL. And I was also there trying to hide from the sun whoops.
Surprisingly, we were ahead of time. So all the groups except for those playing fishnet (gamemasters........ must be playing rounds and rounds of it), gathered in the canteen and we did some cheers. Standard one la. Like: I SAY SC YOU SAY ROCK. SC, ROCK. SC, ROCK. I SAY SC YOU SAY SWAG. SC, SWAG. SC, SWAG. YAY hahahaha and we did more and more and more until it was their shower time. I was really impressed with the councillors. Their bathing time was 2 hours altogether, but all of them managed to assemble at the canteen in less than 1.5 hours. Especially the guys LOL they were super quick. Hahahaha. And we made them do some more cheers, before we allow them to have their dinner. ;) after dinner, the councillors stayed in the canteen for awhile while some of us went to the AVA room to prepare for movie night. Anddddddd we got our long-awaited sc hoodie too! And before the other councillors arrived, we camwhored in it because 2COOL4YOU! The councillors came in at 7+ and we gave out their hoodies. Majority of them got it and soon, the ava room was a sea of black. YAY SC PRIDE. And then movie began. We watched the pursuit of happyness and we got our councillors to do their reflection. HAHAHAHA all of them looked like they were gonna doze off any moment. And we had debrief in the canteen and supper. When it was lights out at 10.45pm, the EXCOs chionged to shower. Like literally. It was so shiok to be standing under the cold water after a long sweaty tiring day. I survived nuansa hotel's ice-cold water and I almost forgot how cold it was until then. But nuansa's was w a y c o l d e r grrrrr. After shower, we had EXCOs debrief and brief about the next day's programme. And LOL we saw the other sec3s being really bored and a group of sec2s who couldnt sleep. Talked to Katherine for awhile (gossiped a little about Weiliang oops) before me Joey and Cindy did our sentry duty because we were too tired until 12.45. Andddddd we also camwhored. Of all places in the toilet because it was brighter than the sports hall LOL. #itsagirlsthing #typicalgirls #withfisheyelenssomemore . HAHAHHA and yup I was so tired I didn't know what time I slept. I didn't even know it rained so heavily. But I did know was that I woke up every hour. For no reason at all.

Day2
I was up at 6am as we had EXCOs debrief at 6.15. I was like "whaaaat so early" but oh well. And at 7 or even before 7, all the councillors were already gathered in the canteen, staring into space. LOL. First was morning exercise. Led by me and Joey LOL I'm like what?!?!?!?!!!!??? But its ok guise the stretchings were really simple, aye? And we ran 2 rounds around the parade square. I was already dying after running a length of the parade square. But I was more energetic (?) after the run. And so were the other councillors. And since we were ahead of time, we played electrons at the netball court LOL. Running around, screaming, laughing so early in the morning. And good thing we didn't get complaints by neighbours in the HDB beside the netball court LOL. And this game has definitely waken all of us up. And so we had breakfast. We didn't make the councillors do the makan cheer as we were afraid we would receive complaints. After breakfast, it was 2 hour long events planning workshop held by Jiahui Kate Eecheng and me. And this workshop made the councillors more and more sleepy again LOL. But anyways we had them to do a presentation and I was glad that some really quiet councillors came up to do it. :') so proud of them. e.g ziyang zeyang and somemore. Ok lets skip to 2 hours later. It was farewell for our beloved sec4 seniors as well as Ms Serena. So glad to see the sec4s again. I have missed all their lame jokes and everything that made SC crazy. Anyways we had speeches by a representative from each level. And then we had a video made by Aaron and Wilson. And cake cutting + lunch in the AVA. Uhhuh swag like that. we did the makan cheer. Like councillors, sec3s, and sec4s. and we had part of the cake too yummmmmmm. And so the sec3s sat in a circle and ate together cos swag. And we talked about stuffs that happened last night..... while we were asleep. But none about us yay. So we were still ahead of time. And we got our councillors to sit in their groups and then we had "talent time" LOL. Just for entertainment purposes while the other EXCOs prepared for the amazing race.
