15 November 2013 marks the end of the O level examinations for our seniors. And also it was Celebrations Evening for them. So as student councillors, we had duties to perform. And well, it was also one of my craziest nights ever with the fellow councillors because WE DA CREW! :)
Before that, we slacked in the morning and stuffs (typical pig me) and then just as I was about to leave house, I received a notification that DANI FROM CIMORELLI FOLLOWED ME ON TWITTER. I was like OMG WHAT. And spazzing all the way to school. We packed our lunch at northpoint, then met Jiahui, Eugina, Yong kai, Wanlong and Sheryl too, before heading to school. In the bus, we saw Kaiwen. And I was judged just because my fringe parting was at the side near the centre. used to being judged already its okay.
When we reached school, Kaiwen Yongkai Wanlong went to buy Eecheng's food, Eugina and Jiahui went to mph to help out. Me and Joey ate our lunch while watching a friendly basketball match LOL, and Sheryl was in the SC room being her weird self. And afterwards we went up to the mph to help out. We had to arrange chairs and let me assure you, it is not fun. We had to make sure that the chairs are aligned and 15 minutes into arranging the chairs, I was sweating mad. The councillors there were me Joey Jiahui Eugina Sheryl Felicia Zirong Yongkai and Weiliang. Aloysius and Wanlong came in to help occasionally. And I also helped to sweep a bit of the red carpet. Because well it was dirty. After all the chairs have been arranged and the decoration have been put up (PS THERE WERE SO MANY HELIUM BALLOONS FOR THE DECO I WAS LIKE OMG GIVE ME ONE I LOVE HELIUM BALLOONS THERE WERE NORMAL ONES AND STAR ONES IM LIKE OMG), me Joey Kaiwen and Jiahui headed down to the sports hall to watch the ongoing basketball match. And as usual, we made a lot of noise. Typical scared-of-balls girls. We cheered for Eecheng and others and we watched for awhile until 2pm, cheering for our school.
Until that Yongkai called lor. We went up, and we had nothing to do I was like -there's no emoji to fit what I felt- and so me and Joey went to bubble tea shop to buy (duh) bubbletea. And then we were like aunties basically. We had to make a u turn because uh.... we forgot to take straws. Whoops and we delivered them to the SC room, to the mph [camwhored a bit with the pretty decorations] and then back to the SC room at 3.15pm to change. That's when we saw Katherine and Weini who were early in the SC room and so we talked to them. So we were in charge of staying in the SC room and to tell councillors to meet at the mph for a briefing by Ms Serena. And there was a period of time where me Joey and Jiahui were the only ones in the SC room and so we did what typical girls do, CAMWHORE! Hahaha. and at 4, we had a short briefing by Ms Serena, camwhored somemore and saw our Sumatra seniors (YAY) before proceeding to do our duties.
All my lovely councillors so dressed up! Okay so I was at the reception area and I took a pic with some reception people and I realised they are all from 2F. LOL. Daniella, Jazreel, Nadrah and Faizzah. OKAY AWKWARD. And since it was still early, I slacked a bit and went to chui air con for awhile before going back to the reception and ai changed place to sit beside Sheryl yay. And yah seniors started streaming in at 5.15+. Most of whom I couldnt recognise. LOL.
The event started at 6.15 sharp and that was when the councillors -all sweaty- waited outside the mph for the principal to finish his speech to enjoy a luxury-- air con. The agenda was standard la. Valedictorian speeches, ayw speech and the singing of school song. And it was supposed to be dinner BUT the food was just set up so we didn't know what to do because the vendor didnt tell us what to do and the sec4s were already crowding around the table. Confused food people. so in the end we just stood at the end of the table and got tempted to eat. It was cold and we were hungry. The fact that seniors were taking their food in front of us made our hunger..... hungrier (?) But yah not long after we could have our dinner. We sat at the front because nobody was there and it was away from the crowd. And it was then that Sheryl became some emo kid because she didn't want to dance and she didn't like the very very big crowd I guess? Hahaha.
At 7.45pm after the dinner, THE PARTY STARTED! The DJ began to play more upbeat songs and the dance floor was really really awkward at first. Like everybody was just standing there awkwardly looking at the seniors zihigh-ing! So glad that they were there to hype up the atmosphere. And then I guess we were tired of the boredom, so us (me Joey Eugina Kaiwen Jiahui Cindy<who came extremely late>) went to the floor and just jumped to the music pumping our fists into the air and if a song we knew was playing, we'd scream out the lyrics. Afterwards we did a train thingy hahaha I just geabbed Arif's back and then the train continued for a while. And there was a point of time where there was a circle and random people went in to dance so we just cheered. We tried pushing Eugina in but she ran away and I chased her, half running half sliding because my shoes were slippery. Ahahah but it continued for about an hour we just jumped around like crazy and rested when we were tired and yup. We also found out that Jazreel and Nadrah were spazzing over a senior so we went senior-hunting with the description that Faizzah gave us. Hahaha. We also dragged our juniors (Katherine Weini Jinpei Xiaoqin Zandra Kexin Jazreel Nadrah Daniella Faizzah) to join in the fun. And for the first time I see Yongkai jumping around I'm like woahhhhhhhh xD During awkward parts, seniors would go jumping and be like "EHHHHHH WAH EH WAH EH WAH EHHHHH WAH EH WAH EH WAH ×10000" And we would join to, trying our best to hype up the atmosphere. I jumped till my toes hurt and screamed till my throat hurts and when I went into the toilet my whole face was red and my hair was wet with sweat. LOL. But heck care, when can you party this hard so young? Only if you're the CREW for your seniors' graduation night, right? ;D basically, a lot of crazy things happened during the party la!!!
At like 9, everyone got seated back for the announcement of the prom king and prom queen. So it was a lil awkward cos the emcee was telling the "couples" to go catwalk and us councillors, okay, just me and Cindy, were cheering down there because the mood has to be there!!!! Whoops ahhaha. After the prom king and queen were announced, the dance floor was open until 10. Because we still had to clear up the mph, we stayed la. But this time we were too tired to jump around, so we just walked around with our helium balloons. And I only took picture with one senior, Aaron. I wanted to take pictures with many other seniors too but. Ah well. So much for not bringing a camera. I think I looked like some autistic kid walking around with a bundle of helium balloons but IT WAS FUN OK DON'T JUDGE PLEASE THANKS.
At 9.45, we began clearing up the mph. Thank God there were some seniors helpong us too man. And yah got to "know" one senior LOL somehow yup. Tiring dragging tables and stacking up chairs. Had a short debrief, did a 3 CHEERS FOR SC, thanked our seniors and teachers and took bus home with Jiahui, and me, holding a big bundle of helium balloons hehehe.
A truly crazy night with the bunch of favourite people. Never partied this hard before. And the only regret is not bringing a camera so that I could have taken truckloads more of pictures.

And also. One year ago on the 15th of November, FFL was created. I know the name may be childish or what, but we're child at heart ok ok. A few of my bestfriends in the youngteens last year, formed right after the youngteens retreat becauae we got to know them better then. From just saying "hi" and "bye" to having awkward dinners to having an outing last year. I really appreciate this group of friends who make my Sundays and Fridays much more interesting. Even though we didn't really interact much this year due to our busy schedules, but we did have dinners earlier this year. The sec2s will be joining the teens next year, and I hope that our friendship will continue growing as we welcome the new year in a month and a half's time. Friends For Life.♥
