Winter HYC 2013

Exactly 2 months to HYC! I mentioned about HYC in a couple of previous posts earlier on and yup today I'm gonna elaborate on it more today.
HYC stands for Hope Youth Corps. It organises activities for disciples all over the world, young or old, to come to a poorer country to serve the poor there. And this year, for Winter HYC, we are going to Chennai, India. For half of December, I'll be there. And I am so, so, so excited! Can't wait to meet disciples from all over the world! We'll be doing some manual jobs, such as painting and teaching the orphans, spending Christmas over at the Leppers' Colony, and well it would be my first time spending Christmas overseas. For some of us, like me, it will be our first time going for HYC. But for others, they have gone before. Well at least I'm not the youngest LOL. I think the youngest would be... Gabriel? Hahaha but as of age, I think we're one of the youngest few.
Apart from the HYC taking place for 10 days, some of us will also be joining the Youth Conference which will take place for another 3 days. And I can't wait for that either, to bring my faith to a whole new level, meeting new friends in the kingdom. It will be my first Conference that I'm attending with brothers and sisters from all over the world.
Ok I'm so psyched for HYC around 60 more days. More than a hundred disciples will be there and I think it'll be the best december holidays ever!!! Although Theo will be coming one day later, but I'm gonna spend the rest of the december with her ;-) ok looking forward!
P.s. during the 13 days, I won't be tweeting, instagramming or blogging, away from the internet, that is. So MISS ME. :-)
